The mechanic

Held, then settled.

01 — You pledgeThe amount leaves your balance and enters a hold. It is visible to the campaign, but spendable by nobody.

02 — The campaign runsEvery pledge adds to a public total. The threshold and deadline are fixed when the campaign launches and cannot be edited afterward.

03 — The deadline decidesGoal met, the hold releases to the creator. Goal missed, every hold reverses the same hour. There is no third case and no one to appeal to.
